With the World Cup just around the corner, and following a lovely holiday in the Maldives, I am feeling relaxed, excited, and very generous.

I am creating a World Cup Fantasy League with a First prize of £700, Second Prize of £200 and Third Prize of £100.

Only catch is I want to donate half the winning prize money to a charity of the winning entrants choice.

With that in mind lets crack on to how this will function.

There is no budget to bear in mind when selecting a side, but you are only allowed to pick a maximum of 2 players from any one country.

You may choose to play either of the following formations: 3-3-4, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-2-4, 5-4-1, 5-3-2.

You will note later from the scoring system why it may pay to side with more defenders over attackers, either way, you decide.

You will select players from the following list as provided by The Sun newspaper.

There are no silly transfers and all that crap, you pick your formation, you pick the 11 players for that system, only a max of 2 players from one country, choose a team name or the name of your blog, submit, you are entered into the competition, you cross your fingers and hope for the best.

A daily league will be posted up showing which blog/blogger does actually have a clue about football.

Now on to the all important Scoring system, think carefully, unlike other Fantasy Leagues, the Legendaire league is set up to let you win not just from having the best attacking options.  The formation selection will surely be the most important basis to your overall masterplan for scooping the loot.
