A sticky away day on Merseyside

November 14, 2010

A quickie from me before the Everton game this afternoon, just got up after being up till 6am to watch Pacquiao pulverize a very, very brave Mexican Warrior…. need a dictionary for some of those words, Mr Harrison?

Sweet Science to the Beautiful Game though and a tough away day at Goodison Park awaits us.

I love the ground, proper old skool tight ground with the crowd right on top of you, which means the home team really get pumped and drive forward their blue toffees… good news for gooners!

Everton won’t sit back, they won’t defend deep, as they are home team and they have to force the issue.

A game like this is made for Theo and Arshavin to rip the life out of the Blue half of Merseyside.

Theo and Arshavin should both start, and both be looking to whack em with a clean pair of heels on the break, getting in behind the stretched Everton defence.

Cahill will be their dangerman as usual, Squillaci and Djourou will need to be on their games or he will pop up and poke a header in.

Then again… he will have to beat Super Fab before that can happen.

Cracking game in store, it’s never a dull affair with a mad scouse mob baying for blood.

3-1 The Arsenal pour moi!
