Forget Arsenal, What about Derby?
June 5, 2010
The Epsom Derby that is.
There is nothing to write about Arsenal-wise, aside from re-hashing press bollards, which I don’t have the patience for.
I doubt there will be much to write about that concerns The Arsenal over the next month, all attention is now very firmly on South Africa.
So, as the beautiful Surrey landscape see’s the greatest flat horse race being run this afternoon, let’s see if we can find the winner.
My pennies will be placed upon the Godolphin horse, Rewilding, ridden by Gooner Frankie Dettori.
Don’t see many in this race staying the full 12 furlongs, so it may also pay to stick a little each-way wager on the 33/1 outsider, Ted Spread, to maybe nab a place.
Ted Spread is the only horse in the race to have actually won over 12, and at a big Derby trial race in the Chester Vase, usually a good indicator.
Enjoy the sunshine people, it will inevitably end soon enough.
